Weighted blankets were developed to relieve stress and anxiety. During use, these blankets provide the sensation of being hugged or embraced. They are custom made according to your height and body weight.
However, they offer much more than just a hug. Studies have shown that using a weighted blanket increases the levels of serotonin and melatonin, as well as reduces cortisol. Also, weighted blankets contribute to improved moods by helping you achieve restful sleep throughout the night.
Our blankets are custom made in Europe using ultra-soft and breathable 100% certified organic cotton. The hypoallergenic cotton from Spain is certified as STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. The blankets are quilted into square sections to create pockets for the glass microbead filling that will produce the required weight and ensure that the weight is evenly distributed over the entire length and width of the blankets.

Gravity blankets should not be confused with thick or down-filled blankets because they are made with special deep pressure touch technology that spreads even pressure all over your body.
The weight of the blanket, which should be approximately 10% of your body weight, creates a pleasant and satisfying sense of well-being when used at night. The result is a euphoric feeling of complete relaxation in your body and nervous system. Your body releases serotonin (the happy hormone) and melatonin (a sleep hormone), so you can fall asleep peacefully or calmly relax on the couch.
